PLYMOUTH is justifiably proud of its wonderful companies and entrepreneurs – and now you have the chance to celebrate and reward their successes by entering them in this year’s bigger and better Herald Business Awards.
We are launching the 2015 version of the popular and prestigious awards and looking for businesses and individuals to start entering.
And, following the huge success of the 2014 version, we are planning an even bigger black-tie awards night – this time at Plymouth Pavilions. Who will follow last year’s high-profile winners such as Dr Graham Stirling, and the teams from the Barden Corporation, Applied Automation, Dartmoor Brewery and the National Marine Aquarium? Maybe this year it will be you, or your company.
The awards will once again celebrate the best in Plymouth business with 16 trophies to be given out. And if the past four years’ awards are anything to go by, competition is likely to be fierce, with many top city businesses in contention.
The entry process is now open until Thursday, March 19. A panel of business experts will be recruited to scrutinise the list of entries and prepare a shortlist of nominees which will be announced shortly afterwards in The Herald. Nominated businesses will be profiled in The Herald’s Business section before the awards night on Thursday, April 23. This is when the contest culminates in what is becoming one of the most anticipated events in the Plymouth business calendar.
There is still the opportunity for firms, organisations and individuals to sponsor an award. Contact Kate Nesbitt on 01752 293174 or 078958 329131.
